City Council expresses appreciation to petrochemists for the assistance in provision of disinfecting agent

This is about sodium hypochlorite, which is known to the most of townspeople as detergent «Belizna» or «Kalushanka».
The team of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» has found the way to help the town and, in particular, its utility companies to make disinfection of buildings, premises and other public areas.
And it all started when General Director of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ivan Pidsadyuk gave the instruction to his Deputy Yarema Rudyk to ask the Mayor of the town whether the utility companies need sodium hypochlorite for necessary preventive measures in response to quarantine imposition in the State because of coronavirus infection spreading.
– Yarema Bogdanovych tells-«After this discussion I immediately phoned to the Mayor of the town Igor Matviychuk, and informed him that our Company has the chance to provide this agent on a charitable basis. Shortly afterwards the First Deputy of the Mayor Halyna Romanko gave me the ring and said that they badly need sodium hypochlorite and would like to receive this agent, and was also interested in the number of the above-mentioned agent; therefore we informed her that several tons could be provided. After that was given the instruction to the management of Chlorine and Caustic Soda Production Process by Membrane Method of PVC-S and CS Production Facility to deliver three tons of sodium hypochlorite for needs of town».
As far as it was not possible to deliver this products in small drums to the territory of KP «Vodoteploservice», according to the received recommendation for delivery to this destination, was taken a mutual decision with the Director of this utility company Igor Yakovyna to load sodium hypochlorite in 1t IBC containers. And this had been done.
Halyna Romanko could not conceal her satisfaction due to such initiative of the management of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM».
– We are sincerely thankful to petrochemists for this good deed, – tells Halyna Vasylivna. – By the Mayor of the town has already been given the instruction to the workers of «Vodoteploservice» to bottle sodium hypochlorite in smaller containers and to distribute to other utility companies and entrepreneurs for disinfection of front doors, staircases of residential buildings, the communal areas, including educational institutions, sport facilities, etc. We also plan to use this product for disinfection of town streets. Once again I would like to mention that the assistance of petrochemists in providing of this disinfecting agent was very timely and necessary.
