Consultations how to combine scientific and educational potential with interests of enterprise and community
In April 26 at Kalush polytechnic college was held the meeting of Directorate of this educational institution with representatives of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, company «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» and community of Kalush on the subject how to combine efforts of industrial potential of Kalush and higher educational institutions with the aim of professional specialists preparation.
Being the host, Director of polytechnic college Perto Grynkevych familiarized the people, present at the meeting, with this college and with a list of specialties which the students are being taught in the walls of the college as well as paid attention to the importance of cooperation with the enterprise «KARPATNAFTOCHIM».
– Due to our partner and friendly relations we currently have the chance to maintain in due conditions the material base of the college, to renovate study rooms and laboratories and equip with necessary devices and technique, – stated Petro Petrovych. – Such cooperation also permits students to visit the production facilities of the enterprise during educational practice, as well as our graduators can have there production practice; and this is extremely important for these young people when choosing a place of work or further education for qualification.
Correspondingly a Mayor of Kalush Andriy Nayda, who was also present at the meeting, accented the fact that a current meeting in the format of four walls is an imprint of the event, which was hold in town last week when the Agreement about Cooperation had been concluded between Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas and Kalush municipal community. And the presence today the representatives from our greatest enterprise «KARPATNAFTOCHIM», is a proof that the main target of the aforementioned Agreement is the solution of specific tasks, namely: the preparation of well-qualified young specialists, necessary for the production facilities.
And at these Consultations was present the delegation from National Technical University headed by the First Pro-Rector, Doctor of technical science, Professor Oleg Mandryk. In his speech he mentioned that participation of representatives from a famous Kalush enterprise at this meeting and its cooperation with polytechnic college is the evidence of the fact that a due attention is paid in the town to the preparation of specialists. However there could be stronger partnership between the University and «KARPATNAFTOCHIM», particularly practical training in the production units of the enterprise and implementation of so- called dual education.
– Recently the system of professional education embraces more and more Higher Educational Institutions and enterprises of our state, directed by its practical implementation in the countries of European Union, – stated the First Pro-Rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas. – Combination of study of future specialists with work at the production facilities gives them the chance of quick and complete mastering of profession, and this is surely beneficial for Higher Educational Institutions and for the enterprises.
From «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» at the above meeting was Igor Matskiv, General Director Deputy. He, in particular, stated that the enterprise cooperated and is ready to cooperate with Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine. Its specialists always participate in vocational guidance activities, if the enterprise is aware about their conducting. We are also open for internship practice at our structural divisions by students not only from educational institutions of Precarpathian, but from other regions of Ukraine too.
The enterprise is really interested in recruitment of young specialists with profile education, proper level of knowledge, desire to work in our team, and we, in our turn, will create all necessary conditions for self-realization», – accented General Director Deputy.
After exchange of views all participants agreed that at the next meeting should be signed the Agreement about Cooperation, which according to words of Andriy Nayda, will favour to the development of Kalush and assist in job placement at its production facilities for such young specialists that live in our town.
