400 Kalush petrochemists have been vaccinated against flu and acute viral inspiratory infections

With onset of cold weather increases the risk to catch not only coronavirus infection but also such usual colds as acute viral inspiratory infections and influenza. The position of doctors concerning this point is definite: the most active and the most efficient method to prevent from these diseases and their possible complications is vaccination.

That is why in order to help employees to avoid such diseases, the management of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» this year, like in previous years, took care for vaccination and vitaminization.

– It was a choice of employees whether they’d like to get vitamins-minerals or vaccine, – tells Andriy Varvaruk a leading economist – chief of finance and treasury department group of Company. – As the result 400 persons decided to be vaccinated and 2160 persons to receive vitamin- complex.

This year petrochemists, like it was in previous years, will be vaccinated by French vaccine «VAXIGRIP». So this process of vaccination of employees was organized in December 8 and 9 at the medical centers of the enterprise, which are situated in the building of main headquarters and at production facilities of ethylene and polyethylene. Regarding vitamins complex, pursuant to recommendations of doctors, has been chosen the medicine «DUOVIT» that was purchased and distributed among employees in November.

To the aforesaid is worth to mention, that this year twice as much employees of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM were vaccinated compared to previous years.
