At «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» is introduced dual education

Such form of education involves the combination of theoretic preparation of students at the educational institutions with practical training at workplaces of the enterprise in order to acquire relevant skills. In many countries of the world such approach to learning has already not been new for a long time, but in Ukraine it started to gain popularity relatively a bit later.

From the information of Iryna Biletska, a leader of the group on training organization and staff development of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., this new area of work related to the introduction of dual education at the enterprise is actively developing. The main tasks are to improve the quality of specialists preparation, to bring education closer to the requirements and needs of the personnel at the enterprise, to strengthen a role and influence of the employer on the education, increase youth motivation to study among students as well as to increase youth employment, reduce the adaptation period of graduates at work, rise employees competitiveness.

To achieve this, is planned to sign tripartite Agreement between the High education institution, the enterprise and the student. The theoretic part of the young specialist preparation will take place on the basis of high institutions, and the practical part – at workplace in the subdivisions of the enterprise. Thus, applicants for higher education will combine training and internships at the enterprise.

It’s worth reminding that in spring this year between «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd. and Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas was concluded the agreement about cooperation. And at present the employees of HR department are closely working with specialists of mechanical engineering Institute of the above-mentioned University in order to involve the enterprise to dual education. It is foreseen that at Kalush enterprise future mechanical engineers will learn the practical skills of their profession and in the nearest future after graduation from high schools hey will become potential skilled workers for «KARPATNAFTOCHIM».
