«KARPATNAFTOCHIM» continues to provide with liquid oxygen the medical institutions of the region

Charitable Fund «Pokuttya» helps our Company to deliver it to the hospital and to organize the temporary storage.

According to information of Yarema Rudyk, General Director Deputy of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM», currently the enterprise grants oxygen free of charge to central regional hospitals of Kalush, Gorodenka and Kolomyya.

– Rhythmic and stable operation of the enterprise gave us the opportunity to deliver in December to the hospitals of the region nearly 75 tones of medical oxygen, and from this amount more than half was allotted to Kalush Central Regional Hospital, – noted Yarema Bogdanovych.

The situation with oxygen supply to medical institutions of the region in January, was commented by Switlana Bazyliv, a leading specialist of sales department of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd. Pursuant to her information in the first 12 days of the current month for needs of Kalush CRH was shipped 12,7 tones of oxygen. And even more amount of this medicament, and namely 18 and 15 tones, was sent correspondingly to the hospitals of Gorodenka and Kolomyya.

Some days ago we visited Kalush hospital together with our photographer at the same moment when charitable Fund «Pokuttya» delivered to this location in the special truck body the next vessels with two tones of medical oxygen. And during the time when workers of the hospital were making its pumping to the oxygen cryogenic unit that, apropos, was procured for hospital requirements at the end of the year 2020 by «KARPATNAFTOCHIM», we asked Mykola Dmyterko, General Director Deputy of Kalush CRH, to comment the situation with medical oxygen provision.

– Since «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» has received the permit for liquid oxygen production as medical medicament, we are cooperating now regarding the delivery of it only with Kalush enterprise and with Charitable Fund «Pokuttya». Because first of all, it requires less different concerns, connected with its delivery and transportation, and secondly it is economically profitable for us, considering the fact that on the market the prices for one ton of medical oxygen fluctuate within 13-14 thousand UAH. That is why taking the opportunity; I’d like to express once more our sincere thankfulness to Kalush petrochemical workers.
