KARPATNAFTOCHIM will be providing sanitary wastewater treatment services to the public utility company ‘Vodoteploservice’ free of charge for two months.
This will allow the utility company not to charge or reduce the fee for the wastewater disposal to the residents of Kalush
The management of KARPATNAFTOCHIM put forward this initiative before the Kalush town council during telephone conversation between of the General Director of the enterprise Ivan Pidsadiuk and Mayor Ihor Matviichuk in order to prevent from the spread of coronavirus disease COVID-19.
Particularly, these negotiations touched the issue on how to reduce the economic impact of the coronavirus disease on the residents of Kalush. Despite the fact that public utility company ‘Vodoteploservice’ has a considerable debt to KARPATNAFTOCHIM Ltd. for the town wastewater treatment services rendered, the petrochemical enterprise, understanding the degree of social responsibility to the staff of other enterprises of the town, the community of the town of Kalush and the state in general, is willing to provide these services free of charge for two months.
For this purpose, it was proposed to conclude additional agreements between KARPATNAFTOCHIM Ltd. and public utility company ‘Vodoteploservice’ to the existing contracts for the provision of services on a free-of-charge basis for the period of March 01 to April 30, 2020.
The town government undertakes to submit the protocol concerning cooperation, agreed by these companies and the Kalush town council, for consideration to the town council session scheduled for March 26.
– But whatever be the decision of the session of the town council, – said the Deputy General Director of KARPATNAFTOCHIM Ltd. Yarema Rudyk, – the enterprise will not charge the fee to the public utility company ‘Vodoteploservice’ for the sanitary wastewater treatment services for the period of March 01 to April 30, 2020.
