Petrochemists are cleaning sewerage networks

Extraordinary situation that appeared at the end of June in Kalush regions due to excessive amount of precipitations though had not caused serious damages to sewerage network of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., but nevertheless forced petrochemists to inspect its state.

And at the separate sectors it was necessary to perform repair activities by own efforts, and namely to make the substitution of the part of pipes; and in order to conduct hydrodynamic purification of sewers, the Department of maintenance of buildings, construction and industrial objects of the Enterprise, concluded the Agreement with specialized Kyiv Company. And currently the specialists of this company already work on the territory of «KARPATNAFTOCHIM».

– A team of specialists of «Complexecoservice» LLC., consisting of a technologist and two drivers-plumbers arrived to us by the truck KAMAZ, equipped with vacuum machine, – tells a Chief engineer of Department of maintenance of buildings, construction and industrial objects of the Enterprise  «KARPATNAFTOCHIM» Ltd., Igor Bachynsky. – The specialists use this machine for hydrodynamic purification of sewer pipes of different diameters, sanitary wells and receiving chambers of pumping stations. After cleaning of pipes by water under high pressure by means of the above mentioned machine is pumped out sludge, sand and other precipitations to its six cubic vessel and all these sedimentations are transported to treatment facilities of the Enterprise.

As for information of Igor Bachynsky, in accordance with the concluded Agreement with company «Complexecoservice», which has in Ukraine dominant positions in the sphere of service rendering for engineering networks, this time specialists from Kyiv must clean in the territory of

PVC-S, Chlorine and Caustic Soda plants as well as at Water and Sewerage Unit almost 700 meters of networks of rain, acid-alkali, household-domestic organic and fecal sewers, and four receiving chambers of pumping station,  as well as switching chambers. They also have to make a certain scope of activities on the area of Ethylene and Polyethylene facilities. Here is foreseen to perform the cleaning of 160 meters of sewerage organic network at the pyrolysis, compression and splitting of cracking gas unit, as well as 370 meters of sewer, rain, organic and household-domestic networks at the unit of hydrocarbons production.

It’s also worth to say that the cleaning of sewer networks is performed in the presence of responsible representatives for maintenance and repair of engineering networks from «KARPATNAFTOCHIM». If during hydrodynamic cleaning of sewers are detected the areas, in which a pipe could be broken or damaged, then the maintenance personnel of the Enterprise should make excavations and eliminate defects in the network.
