The imposition of quarantine and emergency situation regime in Ukraine to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease did not cause a serious problem for the staff of HR department of KARPATNAFTOCHIM Ltd. in addressing issues related to the management of training for company employees. Even in this situation they have the opportunity to improve their skills. Actually, we asked Iryna Biletska – the team leader of HR department – to tell us about this in detail.
– In the conditions of quarantine, as part of implementation of advance training of company employees plan along with compliance with anti-epidemic safety requirements the employees of department utilize various approaches to organization of personnel training, – Iryna Viktorivna says. – And specifically, distance learning is under way.
In particular, during the quarantine, advance training material in the field of fire protection of facilities was mastered through distance learning by Oleh Medved – a leading specialist in technogenic safety of the health, safety and environment department. Having successfully completed the training and passed a testing at the Lviv State University of Life Safety, he received a relevant certificate.

Following the implementation of an automated system of emergency threat early detection and alert at one of the units and introduction of appropriate changes to the existing automated system, the company organized and conducted training courses for 13 employees of the operations control department (workstation operators of automated system of emergency threat early detection and alert). The aim of courses was to provide employees with skills to operate the software and hardware of the automated system of emergency threat early detection and alert (ASEDA). The course was held by the teachers: Andriy Hrytsiv – the head of the communication department, and Mykhailo Kuchera – the 1st category telecommunication engineer of the communication department.
